LENT
What is Lent?
Welcome to the Lenten season at All Saints Lutheran Church.
Lent is an ancient season of the Church, shaped around Jesus’ forty days in the wilderness. From the earliest centuries, Christians slowed down in the weeks before Easter to pray, to repent, and to prepare their hearts for the joy of resurrection. Lent isn’t about earning God’s love. It’s about making room for it. It’s a season of honesty, reflection, and trust.
Worship & Service
Lent at All Saints is a season of slowing down, deepening faith, and living out God’s love in tangible ways.

Worship Wednesdays
Whether you’re new to church, returning after some time away, or deeply rooted in this community, Lent at All Saints offers space to reflect, serve, and hope together—trusting that God meets us with grace every step of the way.
You’re invited to worship with us throughout the Lenten season as we journey together toward Holy Week and Easter. Wednesday evening worship is held at 6:00 pm, with additional services on Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday.
Alongside worship and prayer, we invite you to take part in a Lenten service project that reflects our commitment to caring for our neighbors.
This year, All Saints is partnering with World Language Middle School to support refugee and immigrant families experiencing food insecurity through a culturally thoughtful food drive.
Participants can pick up a country-specific shopping list, matching sticker label, and grocery bag at church, choose a few items from each category on the list, and return the completed bag to church. Our Refugee Ministry Team delivers these bags weekly to the school, where they are shared directly with families by Nicole Ford, an All Saints member and counselor at World Language Middle School. We’ll be collecting food bags through March 29, and everyone is welcome to participate.
