Middle School Ministries
aka Confirmation
At All Saints, we walk alongside our youth as they grow in faith and discover their identity as disciples of Christ. Our program mostly consists of our Confirmation program,
which meets two Sundays a month for faith, food, and fun
that is designed to help students connect deeply with Jesus,
with one another, and with our wider congregation.
Together, we create opportunities to learn, serve, and grow
in a community grounded in God’s love.

Confirmation is more than a class—it’s a community. Over three years, students in grades 6–8 will discover what it means to follow Jesus in today’s world, to make their faith their own, and to become active, thoughtful members of the church. We’ll gather twice a month after worship, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Each time, students will be fueled with food, strengthened in faith, and connected through fun.
At baptism, parents promised to nurture their children in faith: to bring them to worship, to teach them the Lord’s Prayer, the Apostles’ Creed, and the Ten Commandments, to place the Scriptures in their hands, and to help them grow in the Christian life. Those promises are being lived out here, in this amazing ministry of Confirmation.
Parents, you are essential partners in this journey. Your prayers, your presence, and yes, your casseroles and sandwiches help create the kind of community where faith takes root.
Each family is asked to provide lunch once during the year for our Sunday gatherings. Lunch can be simple—think sandwiches, pizza, pasta, tacos, or even soup and salad. You don’t need to go overboard; the goal is to provide something easy and filling so our students can focus on growing in faith and community.

We’ll typically have about 15–20 people (students and leaders) at each gathering, so plan food accordingly. Drinks and paper products will be provided by the church—you just bring the food. You are welcome to team up with another family if that makes it easier.
Providing lunch is a wonderful way to support our students and to be part of the Confirmation community in a hands-on way.
We’ll also begin this year with a parent gathering on Sunday, September 14, at noon in the Youth Room. This will be a time to hear more about our mission for Confirmation, walk through the calendar, and answer questions about logistics, costs, and expectations.
