Bible Studies

Pastors' Bible Study

Wednesday Mornings at 10:30 AM

The Pastor's Bible Study examines the Bible readings assigned for the following Sunday from the Revised Common Lectionary. This study is led by Pastor Bill and Pastor Scott, and is open to all who want to dive deeper into the Bible.

Adult Forum

Sunday Mornings at 9:45 AM – 10:45 AM, September through early June.

We engage in discussion on various topics, from straightforward Bible study to faith-based topical discussions. Usually led by members, the group also welcomes guest speakers from Trinity Lutheran Seminary, who can delve deeply into their areas of expertise.

Women's Ministry

Tuesday Evenings at 7:00 PM

We offer seasonal Bible Studies, on Zoom, for those who are unable to meet in person, or for those who just prefer to gather online.

Click here for information on how to participate in our Zoom meetings and on Facebook.

Wednesday Mornings at 10:00 AM

We offer in-person Bible Study on Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. in the Parish Hall.  The content is the same study offered on Tuesday nights.

The group enjoys discussion centered around our study, as well as current issues in women's lives. We also enjoy an annual retreat, local or on the road.

Contact Lisa Brooks ( for more information about the Women's Ministry.

Men's Ministry

The Men's Ministry exists to strengthen a man's connection with God and other men, to better serve in the home, work place, and community. Our monthly Men's Wing Nights are a great time of friendly conversation and fellowship over beers and a plate of wings (at Rooster's on Sawmill Rd). The Men's Ministry also gathers each Saturday at 10 a.m. on Zoom, and once per month, in person, for breakfast and discussion. Contact Pastor Scott ( to learn more about all our Men's Ministry gatherings.

Men's Breakfasts

Saturdays, 9:30 AM (Third Saturday of each Month)

Contact George Schmidt ( to learn more and to get connected with the in-person monthly breakfasts.

Daily Morning Prayer

A small prayer group that meets each week, and uses an abbreviated version of Luther's Order for Morning Prayer (pp. 293 in the ELW Hymnal). These meetings don't include any of the singing, only a reading from the Psalm and two Scripture readings based on the Daily Readings for that day. We also focus our daily prayers around a different theme for each day:

  • Monday - the church and its mission

  • Tuesday - individuals/families in need of care

  • Wednesday - the nation, the world, and its leaders

  • Thursday - care for God's creation
