Call to Volunteer
We’re gathering for a church work day on Saturday, August 22, at 10 a.m.
Our plans for the day include:
-
Power washing the preschool playground equipment and the front steps leading up to the sanctuary
-
If possible, applying a sealant to the front steps after cleaning
-
Trimming the bushes at the front entrance of the parking lot and the large shrub by the preschool entrance
Your help will make a big difference in keeping our church grounds safe, welcoming, and beautiful. Whether you can lend a hand for the whole day or just a little while, we’d love to see you there!
Adult Education
All Are Welcome!
Adult Education continues this Sunday, August 23, with George’s final class on the Holy Spirit.
After this week, we’ll take a short break from Aug. 30 through Sept. 13. We’ll return on Sept. 20 and 27 for a special guest mini-series, The Gnostic Gospels, led by Dr. Brakke from OSU. This two-week series will offer an engaging and insightful look at the origins and development of Christianity through the fifth century.
Whether you’ve been attending Adult Education regularly or are curious about joining us for the first time, all are welcome!
August Welcome Table
Join us for our August Welcome Table, featuring a fun summer cookout! Welcome Table is more than just a meal—it's an opportunity to share food, fellowship, and community with our neighbors and church family.
It takes many helping hands to make these dinners possible. Whether you can donate food, help prepare the meal, serve, or clean up, we'd love to have you be part of this ministry.
Tuesday, August 25
Dinner served at 5:30 p.m.
