Lauren graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education from Bowling Green State University. Lauren directs our Chancel Choir, Concordia Bells director and Cherub Bell Choir in addition, and as part of, her work as Director of Music and Worship. Lauren is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, Ohio Music Educators Association and the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians.

 

Outside of her work at All Saints, Lauren taught choir for 13 years in the public schools. She continues with music education as an adjudicator for Middle & High School OMEA events and teaching music part-time at All Saints Preschool. Lauren began singing with the Columbus Symphony Chorus (through the Columbus Symphony Orchestra) in 2016. As of 2024, Lauren works part-time for the Columbus Symphony Orchestra as the Chorus Coordinator. Lauren has played trumpet with the Heisey Wind Ensemble since 2005 under the direction of Dr. Russell Mikkelson, Director of Bands at OSU, and currently serves as board member and Librarian for this ensemble. Lauren is married to Andy and they have one daughter, Penny.
