Serving You

The Serving You Group is both a Bible Study and service group. They meet the third Tuesday of every other month at 6:45pm, September through May, to complete a Bible Study and discuss how they may serve the church and our community. Ongoing services include collecting and delivering needed items for OSU Star House (a center that helps to connect homeless teens to basic services), collecting and delivering materials to make sleeping bags for the homeless, and helping with Tools for School. All are welcome!

One of the Serving You Small Group's biggest projects is Star House, a drop-in center for homeless teens ages 14 to 24 in the Columbus  area.

It is operated by The Ohio State University and subsidized by government grants, local businesses, organizations, churches and individual volunteers. They love to have families get involved by offering to cook meals and spend some time with the kids.  For information on volunteering contact Sarah Douglas at

The organization feeds and clothes youth and offers shelter, laundry and shower facilities. Staff also mentors youth, who can complete their GED, receive help for job interviews and help in finding housing. Several have gone on to college-level classes.

All Saints congregation has donated anything that Star House has asked for over the past several years, from clothing, to cleaning supplies, to personal care items, to back packs, and much much more.

The Serving You Small group, are forever grateful for the generosity of our congregation.  We will never really know how many young people we have touched, but our Lord knows.
