  • WHO WE ARE | All Saints

    Our Hope and Heritage All Saints began and continues with people. On Feb. 11, 1962 All Saints became a mission congregation to create a community to worship, pray, study and serve people in need. They were organized as a member congregation of the Lutheran Church in America (LCA) with 154 baptized members. Members worshiped in Worthington’s Masonic Lodge Hall until 1963 when the congregation purchased the property at 6770 North High Street in Worthington. Here they built their first permanent home, including a sanctuary, church office, and a few classrooms. ​ After 57 years All Saints has flourished to over 2,500 baptized members and has gone through five Building Phases to accommodate its people in reaching its mission.     Rachelle Kramer, Faith Formation Team Rachelle Kramer has been part of the Faith Formation Team since 2016 and enjoys watching the youth at All Saints grow in their Faith. Before holding the position at All Saints, Rachelle was a dental assistant for 13 years and became a stay at home mom in 2005. In 2011 Rachelle and her family relocated to Columbus, Ohio due to military service and quickly became members at All Saints.

Director of Adult Ministry, Ruth Ford ruthf@saintsonhigh.org Serving You Small Group Sew Sew Saints Tuesday afternoons, 1:30–4:00 PM (except December) ​ The Sew Sew Saints use donated fabric to sew useful items for persons in poverty around the community and world. All sewing skill levels are welcomed. People are needed to sort, iron and cut fabric, assemble quilt kits for congregation members to sew quilt tops at home, and then assemble quilt tops. The tote bags and baby layettes are easily learned as well. —Projects— Quilts for Lutheran World Relief Tote bags for an inner city giveaway Baby layettes for First English Lutheran Church in Columbus Tools For School Each year All Saints partners with St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ironton, Ohio, to provide children of Lawrence County with school supplies and backpacks. Nearly half of the students' families are unable to buy the supplies needed for school, and teachers continually express their gratitude to St. Paul's, and in turn churches like ours, for providing the necessary supplies to help their students get off to a good start in the fall. During July, help is needed to purchase, count and sort supplies, pack backpacks and deliver them to the children in Ironton the first Saturday in August. https://www.worthingtonresourcepantry.org/about-us Worthington Resource Pantry Meets the third Tuesday of each month, 6:45 PM (Sept.–May) Worthington Resource Pantry serves 8 zip codes in northern Franklin County and southern Delaware County. They provide food and personal care items to those in need. ​ —Current Projects— The Worthington Resource Pantry's March focus is 5 oz. cans of tuna (in water).     Abby Counts, Director of Communications As Director of Communications, Abby manages All Saints member and community relations through email and social media outreach. Abby has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Communication & Organization Leadership, and Music, from Butler University, and has managed communications for non-profit and federal government organizations. She has been a member of All Saints Lutheran Church since 2011 and is delighted to share her passions for design, music, and justice with the All Saints community.

    Russell Oates, Joy! Chorus Director Rusty Oates is the director of Joy! at All Saints Lutheran Church. He graduated from Capital University with a Bachelor of Music, in Music Education, in May of 2016 and currently serves as Choir Director for Licking Heights Central Middle School.

  • HIGH SCHOOL | All Saints

    High School Ministries All Saints offers youth group, fellowship, and service opportunities while seeking new paths to prepare our youth to go into the world connected with Christ. Youth Group Sunday Evenings, 6–8 PM ​ High-school teens gather weekly on Sunday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. to build a sense of community across 5 area school districts and to grow together in their faith. We also offer opportunities to build fellowship through outings such as local sporting events, zip lining, the Columbus Zoo’s Wildlights and more! ​ During this time of pandemic, we are meeting each Sunday evening, using the Zoom app. Contact Lisa Brooks to be included ( ). lisab@saintsonhigh.org Service and Mission Trips ​ We participate in multiple service projects through the year, such as little red wagons, food pantry, welcome table, helping hands, and annual mission trips.     Children's Ministries All Saints offers Sunday School, First Communion, JAM (Jesus and Me), and VBS (Vacation Bible School), while finding new ways to partner with parents to raise faith-filled children who love Jesus. Sunday School Registration Here Sunday School Watch our Calendar for In-Person Sunday School and Take-Home Pack Pick-Up ​ All Saints utilizes Group's Simply Loved curriculum, which is lectionary based, with activities, songs, and videos. ​ —Monthly Sunday-School Offering— ​ Pee-Wee Believers ​ Pee-Wee Believers (PB) is our newest youth group for students who are currently enrolled (at their school) in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade. PB events are offered to provide opportunities for students to bond outside of Sunday School.
