Operation Christmas Child

It’s that time again! October is when we begin collecting shoeboxes full of fun and personal items that will travel worldwide to reach boys and girls to share the gospel of Jesus.

Thank you to the Scott and Borger families for heading up the Operation Christmas Child campaign for the third year!

We will begin collecting boxes on Oct. 22, so start stocking up on supplies. You will need an empty cardboard or plastic shoebox (average size). You can wrap the box if you’d like, but the lid has to be wrapped separately so boxes can be inspected. Also, no additional bows or small toys can be attached to the top of the box. The boxes are tightly packed to go overseas, so they must be able to stack. A $9 donation is also requested to help defray shipping costs. Make checks need to be made payable to Samaritan’s Purse place them in the box. Look for more information and brochures in your bulletin.

A couple of changes this year: Samaritan's Purse ask that the boxes contain no toothpaste or candy.

We greatly appreciate your support as we work worldwide to provide physical and spiritual aid to suffering people. Your generosity will enable us to continue sharing the love of Christ and the hope of the Gospel.
