Global Ministry Partnerships

Jesus called on his disciples to go into all the world to "make disciples of all nations..." At All Saints, we fulfill the Great Commission through partnerships with many organizations doing ministry around the world.

Operation Christmas Child

Collections accepted in October and November

All Saints collects gift-filled shoe boxes in October and November every year to support this global ministry. With these shoe boxes, Operation Christmas Child brings joy, hope and the good news of God’s love to children in difficult situations around the world. Stop by the table in the hallway to pick up box labels and/or drop off your donation. We have sample boxes on the table to help provide ideas of what could be included in your shoe boxes.

ELCA Global Church and Missionaries

https://www.elca.org/Our-Work/Global-Church

As a member church of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, All Saints supports the ELCA Global Church and its missionaries.

The ELCA participates in The Lutheran World Federation, a community of 142 churches in 79 countries that are called to walk together, disciple, and restore communities. This community, the ELCA’s Global Church, endeavors to manage international ELCA relationships, listen and respond appropriately to companion churches, receive the gifts of Christian witness, fund and aid those who are victims of international disasters, call and prepare mission personnel, provide scholarships for international post-graduate study and tools, so that ELCA members may engage with the world.

All Saints specifically supports two ELCA missionaries:
—John Rogers—

John serves as a librarian and teacher in the Evanjelicke Lyceum in Bratislava, Slovakia.

—The Rev. David and Alicia Brondos—

David serves as professor at the Seminario Luterano Augsburgo in Mexico City and his wife, Alicia, teaches English.

Bible Faith Lutheran Church of India

All Saints works with Bible Faith Lutheran Church (BFLC) of India, an independent confessional Lutheran church with headquarters in the southeastern Indian city of Guntur, about 40 miles from the Bay of Bengal. The BFLC supports various ministries including the Moriah Home (an orphanage with approximately 15 children) the Moriah School (a K-10th grade private Christian school), a seminary to train pastors, 42 Lutheran congregations in the State of Andrha Pradesh, and an annual Pastor's Symposium for area pastors.

All Saints has supported various projects over the years, including providing the funding to build a new church building for the congregation in Nachugunta, India. Prior pastors and other members of the All Saints congregation have visited to support this important mission in sharing Jesus's love.
