Ron St. Pierre will make a return visit for our luncheon and program.
He will transport us to the post Civil War era as he recounts the trial, verdict, and execution of Captain Heinrich "Henry" Wirz. Best known as Commandant of Camp Sumter, the Confederate prisoner-of-war camp near Andersonville, Ga. Captain Wirz was the only Confederate soldier convicted and executed for war crimes.
Cost for lunch is $10. Sign up on the bulletin board in the Gathering Area or e-mail Arlene at firstname.lastname@example.org.
