Join us for the annual Christmas luncheon at the beautiful Brookside Country Club. Once again, the Worthington Christian High School Choir will present its holiday musical program. The cost is $25. RSVP to the church office with payment by Dec. 5.

Wednesday, Jan. 4: Lutheran Social Services

Brad Draper will visit to talk about Lutheran Social Services. He was the former director of congregational relations and has taken Barb Packer’s place as director of food pantry services. Please bring something to donate to the food pantry and all the questions you have always wanted to ask about social services in Columbus. Olive Garden will cater the noon luncheon.

Wednesday, Feb. 1: Laughter Therapy

February brings to mind Valentine’s Day and heart health. Our own Jane Karras will move us in the right direction with a program on laughter therapy and the value of yoga. Jane is certified in both. North Star Café will cater a meal of healthy food you will love, and its owners will share the story behind this popular restaurant.

Wednesday, March 7: Easter Through Art

A speaker from The Columbus Museum of Art will present the program “Easter Through Art.” This program showcases art related to the Easter story from art on display at the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. Cargagna’s will cater the noon meal.

Wednesday, May 2: Times Past Vintage Dancers

This month’s program will feature Times Past Vintage Dancers presenting Dances of the Gay 90s (1890’s!) A lively and educational program, this features dancers in costumes of the period and explains the history and culture of each dance as they spirit their way through their repertoire. You won’t be able to keep from tapping your toes. Bob Evans Restaurants will cater our noon meal.

Wednesday, June 6: Singing Buckeyes Barbershop Quartet

We return to LaScala for another buffet luncheon and a fabulous program by the Singing Buckeyes Barbershop Quartet – “Just for Fun.” Not only will they sing music you love, but they will also show a video of the Harmony Camp they sponsor each summer for high school students in Ohio. They will explain what makes barbershop harmony unique and may even ask you to help with a bit of a sing-along.
