High School Ministries
All Saints offers a variety of activities to encourage the congregation’s youth to be actively involved with their church and its mission. Whether gathered for fellowship, study or service projects in the church or the surrounding community, teens are encouraged to share and project the great love of Jesus Christ with each other and the world.
For more information on high school ministries contact Dave Kivimaki.
Senior Recognition Sunday
All Saints will recognize its graduating high school seniors during worship at 11 a.m. May 18 in the Sanctuary. A reception will follow.
Photos wanted
All Saints High School Ministries asks graduating seniors and their parents to bring photos to contribute to a picture collage and video picture book. These special memories are an important way the church marks a milestone in the life of our youth.
Drop off photos at church or e-mail them to Dave Kivimaki, director of high school ministries.
Wanted: Garage Sale help
All Saints Senior High Youth Group will raise funds for its activities with a garage sale July 26 at the church, and the teens need your help.
What: The youth will accept all household items except clothing for the sale.
To donate: If possible, we ask donators to store items in their homes until the week of July 19. Contact Dave Kivimaki, director of high school ministries, if you need to make arrangements to drop things off earlier or have items picked up.
Special needs
- Storage space (a spare garage or shed close to church).
- Volunteers to help price and sort items.
- Pick-ups or trailers to help collect items.
If you can help with these items, contact Dave.
Weekly Fellowship
The All Saints Youth Group, open to all high school students, meets at 7 p.m. most Sundays during the school year and has many special events through the summer. From Super Bowl and Christmas parties to competitions based on popular reality shows such as "Iron Chef" and "The Amazing Race," the Youth Group engages teens, giving them Christian fellowship as they continue their spiritual journey past Confirmation.
Sunday School
Currently, the High School Sunday School group is using Max Lucado's popular study, "3:16: The Numbers of Hope" as its curriculum.
When: 9:30 a.m. Sundays. There will be no Sunday School Easter Sunday, March 23.
Where: All Saints Youth Room.
About the study: Based on the often-quoted verse John 3:16, the study focuses on God's great love for the world, the gift of His son and the promise of eternal life for all who believe. More information can be found here.
Music video
Youth group members and sponsors recently produced a music video featuring All Saints' youth and the song "If We Are the Body" by popular Christian music band Casting Crowns.
