Brown Bag It Update
All Saints again held a Thanksgiving food drive for the Lutheran Social Service Food Pantry, setting a goal of providing 500 bags that would provide accompaniments for a holiday dinner for a family of four.
Including financial donations, our community exceeded that goal, providing 518 bags that, along with roasting hens purchased with a donation from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, gave festive meals to families in the greater Columbus Community.
Thanks to all who donated and made the Thanksgiving holiday better for those who struggle to provide food for their families.
Operation Christmas Child Update
Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes and the Good News of God’s love. This program of Samaritan’s Purse provides gifts and a Gospel lesson to children around the world.
All Saints collected 143 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.
