Contemporary Worship Teams
All Saints has two teams that lead "The Gathering," an 11 a.m. worship service in Parish Hall that features a relaxed setting and favorites from contemporary Christian artists.
The enthusiastic and talented participants experience worship in a different and vital way, acting as leaders as well as musicians for portions of the service.
The usual rehearsal schedule is as follows:
- 40 Days: Thursday evenings.
- Bumper Fish: 12:30 p.m. Sundays.
- In His Name: 6 p.m. Sundays.
- Three 23: Thursday evenings.
Bekkah Weinberger serves as director of contemporary worship and coordinates and develops the teams. She joined the All Saints staff in October 2007.
About Weinberger: A native of Mesa, Ariz., Weinberger attended California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, Calif., from which she graduated in 2003. She moved to San Diego, where she has served as a church music director, on campus ministry staff and as an educator at Sea World. She is a student in the Master of Arts in Church Music program at Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, where she and her husband, Brian, are completing their final year of study.
