Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is All Saints’ most technically advanced choir and performs at one service each Sunday from September to June. The group sings anthems by composers such as John Rutter and John Carter. Twice each year, it presents a major musical work with orchestra.
The choir, led by Jan Arthur since 1981, rehearses from 7 to 9 p.m. each Wednesday and for one hour each Sunday in preparation for its worship time during its months of worship leadership.

Celebrating Jan Arthur
Nov. 13, we will recognize Chancel Choir Director Jan Arthur for his 30 years of service to the congregation.
The Chancel Choir commissioned Dr. René Clausen, composer-in-residence at Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., to write an anthem for the occassion. The anthem “Psalm 98” was written for choir, organ, and brass quintet.
The Chancel Choir will premiere this anthem at all three traditional services Nov. 13. Also during the morning services the Congregation Council will acknowledge the occasion of Jan’s 30th and present him with a framed commendation.
That afternoon and evening the congregation will host a celebration. The schedule:
