SOS: Send Our Saints to New Orleans
While we are THRILLED to have 26 youth and six adults already on board for the National Youth Gathering, it does mean we have our work cut out for us! We need to raise $26,000 by May of 2012.
We believe we can do it…and we are offering many ways for our congregation to support our youth in this venture. Here is a look at just a few of the festivities we have planned:
Goodie Sunday: We will continue to offer “Goodie Sunday” the third Sunday of every month. Whether it is Krispy Kreme donuts or another yummy delicacy, please look for our youth and help send them to New Orleans! Next Goodie Sunday will be A Sept. 18.
OSU Tailgate/Silent Auction: Mark your calendars now for the OSU vs. Purdue game, Nov. 12. Let’s enjoy this away game at our home church! We will have the game televised on the big screen and offer fun activities, including, but not limited to, tailgate food, music by the Buckeye Blend and a silent auction with something for everyone.
