All Saints Preschool

All Saints Lutheran Church Preschool is a nationally accredited and state-licensed program for children ages 3 to 5. The staff is devoted to nurturing children emotionally and spiritually while helping students develop the pre-academic skills that will prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.

Annual flower sale

All Saints Preschool will again be sponsoring its annual plant sale in April.

What: The preschool will sell a variety of flats along with floor and hanging baskets. Profits benefit enrichment programs for our children.

When: Order forms will be available beginning March 31 in the Gathering Area and the church and preschool offices.

To order: Return order forms and payment to the preschool or church offices by April 14.

Pickup: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 6 in the back church parking area.

Teaching positions

Positions will be available for the 2008-09 school year. Interviews will begin in April.

Qualifications: Individuals should have a degree in early childhood, child development or a related field. Previous experience in preschool teaching is helpful but not required.

Waiting list

All classes for fall are filled, but openings often become available during the summer. For more information, to schedule an appointment to visit the preschool or for more information, contact the preschool office at 614-846-6080 between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Admission

Children must be toilet trained.
Children must be 3 by Sept. 30 of the school year to attend the two-day program.
Children must be 4 by Sept. 30 of the school year to attend the three-day program.
Children must be 5 on Dec. 31 of the school year to attend the four-day program.

Current openings

A few openings remain in the 5-year-old class, which meets from 12:30-3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Schedule

3-year-olds: 9-11:30 a.m. or 12:30-3 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays
4-year-olds: 9-11:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
or 12:30-3 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
5-year-olds: 12:30-3 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The preschool year begins after Labor Day and ends before Memorial Day.

Monthly tuition

Two-day program: $125
Three-day program: $150
Four-day program: $175

Tuition is due by the 7th of each month to avoid late fees.

Philosophy

All Saints Preschool provides quality educational services presented in a Christian environment of love and mutual respect. The developmentally based curriculum gives children opportunities to grow-- socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively -- at their own rates and in an atmosphere where they can feel comfortable, happy and successful.

Teacher/student ratios

Two-day program: Two degreed teachers per 16 children.

Three- and four-day programs: Two degreed teachers per 20 children.
